Revolting Brussels Metro YouTube ‘prankster’ strikes again

2 minutes read

An infamous Brussels-based YouTuber who is known for throwing buckets of excrement, oil and other filth over unsuspecting victims on the city’s Metro system has published a new video of his disgusting antics.

It shows how YouTuber “YaNike” again throws a bucket filled with filth over an unsuspecting Metro passenger.

The police have opened a new investigation against the culprit who had been released from jail on parole.

His series of offensive “prank” videos sparked public outrage and led to his arrest in January on suspicion of intentional battery and injury, property damage and destruction of property by force.

Despite the legal action and the removal of his previous content from social media platforms, YaNike appears undeterred in his pursuit of online notoriety and he uploaded a new video on July 19.

Brussels news outlet Bruzz reported that this time, water, oil and branches were among the substances in the bucket of filth.

It is suspected that the latest revolting incident happened at the Metro station Demey in Auderghem.

The Brussels Intercommunal Transport Company condemned the YouTuber’s actions as “completely unacceptable”.

“We really don’t take this lightly. We immediately notified the police and instructed our lawyer to add the latest incident to the Public Prosecutor’s file on his previous offence,” a spokesperson said.

Police spokesman Laurent Masset said an official report was drawn up and handed to an investigating judge. The Brussels prosecutor’s office said the investigation was ongoing.

At the end of last year, the young man gained notoriety in Belgium after more than half a dozen of such “pranks”.

Despite his foul efforts, YaNike had only managed to gain a minimal following on social media by the time of his arrest.
