The major corruption scandal rocking the progressive Spanish Government, the Koldo Case, has taken a lewd turn, with prostitutes and a porn actress joining the fray.
The revelations came after audio recordings from 2019 between Koldo García, the former adviser to the former transport minister José Luis Ábalos — both of the ruling Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE) — were analysed by the Civil Guard while investigating a broader alleged corruption case.
The recordings have been leaked and, in addition to the allegations of major corruption and hefty bribes, have caused extra “reputational damage” to the party.
In the recordings, it can apparently be heard how the two PSOE members wanted to organise a “discreet” weekend, choosing prostitutes they wanted to take with them and rating them.
“Look, if they come here, you know who is going to happen, I am clear about it. If she comes here, you have Ainara,” Garcia could be heard saying.
Ábalos corrected him on the prostitute’s name but agreed with her qualities. “Ariatna, who is fine, who is fresh, is perfect,” he apparently said.
“And the Colombian one. And the other one,” the former minister reminded him. At that point, Garcia admitted he was keen on “the other one as well”.
“But it was because you were going to switch. But you prefer Ariatna,” he said.
“I don’t know, Carlota is wild, seriously,” Ábalos responded.
To end the debate, Garcia said: “Whichever one you want. Either Ariatna or Carlota”. The then-minister agreed: “It was just to get to know them.”
The men also discussed how to get to their destination. “Isn’t there a way through here?” Ábalos asked at one point — he had by then been head of the Ministry of Public Works for a year since 2018.
“No chance, mate, those are national roads. Are you mad?” Garcia replied.
Making matters more awkward, the conversation began when Garcia brought up Ábalos’ wife, Carolina. “She doesn’t have a clue,” he stated.
Garcia told Ábalos’ wife that the minister had a “lunch” that was “unavoidable”.
“Well, it’s a breakfast with the press and so on. She said, ‘Alfredo again?’ She’s really stressed him out,” he explained, joking about his excuse: “I couldn’t help it, sorry. That one was my own invention.”
Earlier this year, the Spanish news outlet OK Diario had accused Ábalos of hiring a team of at least six Brazilian prostitutes to “accommodate” businessmen, including contractors from this ministerial portfolio, allegedly using public funds.
In April, Ábalos was accused of throwing a party in a hotel, attended by a van “full of young ladies”, who were alleged to have been escorts, during the Covid lockdowns. They reportedly destroyed the master suite completely.
Another name that popped up in the police investigation was Jéssica Rodriguez, a young Spanish student of dentistry at the time, who became Ábalos’ partner and was connected with two public companies, INECO and Tragsatec.
Reports by the Spanish police suggested Rodríguez was selected from a “catalogue” of prostitutes on García’s phone and accompanied Ábalos on official trips.
Rodríguez admitted in court to receiving payments from two public companies without having to go and work there. She even told the prosecutor that she “does not know” where her job was located in the public company Tragsatec.
She lived in a Madrid apartment for two years that cost €2,700 a month in rent, allegedly paid by the corruption scheme via García’s arrangements, totalling €82,298.
Rodríguez told the prosecutor she had a romantic relationship with Ábalos when he was married but that he “only shared a roof with his wife and children”.
“He told me that as long as he was a minister, he could not divorce because that was a scandal and I did not want to be anyone’s bit on the side.”
She said they made trips every month, to places including London, Moscow, Abu Dhabi and other cities.
“Ábalos has always paid for everything. Except when Koldo managed it, but they fixed things later,” she said.
Ábalos has five children from three marriages.
His third wife, who was 15 years younger than him, settled in Madrid at the time and took up a role as an adviser at the Government Delegation, in a freely appointed position under the political leadership of José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes. He is currently the president of the Higher Sports Council and served as Minister of Culture between 2020 and 2021.
It was during the relationship with her, the mother of two of his children, that he started his fling with Rodríguez.
Another woman connected to Ábalos was Claudia Montes, a model who was allegedly irregularly hired at Logirail, another public company owned by Renfe, Spain’s national State-owned railway company, in 2019.
An intercepted WhatsApp message from Ábalos to García on October 8, 2019, read: “Can’t the one from Gijón [Montes] be hired at Renfe, ADIF, or one of their subcontractors?”
García replied: “I’ll arrange it,” and forwarded Montes’ details to Isaías Táboas, then-president of Renfe.
Another woman involved with Ábalos was Anaís D G, better known as Letizia Hilton, a model and porn actress, who has been credited with some physical resemblance to Paris Hilton.

She was at Ábalos’ home in Valencia when the Civil Guard was executing a search.
According to officers, Ábalos instructed her to take out the dog and grab some breakfast. She went to another room and then tried to leave the house but an officer realised she was carrying something hidden in her pants. This turned out to be a hard drive.
She identified herself as Anaís D G, the name she used as a model, and claimed to be the former minister’s cleaning woman.
On June 17, Spanish digital news outlet El Español discovered she was a porn actress who also worked as a prostitute, with several profiles on escort websites.
In an ad on Hott Escorts, featuring some erotic photos, she stated: “I’m here to make your moments unforgettable. If you’re looking for company for fun-filled private parties or just want to enjoy a good swing dance, I’m here for you.”
She did not reply to requests for comments from El Español.
In porn videos, she was presented as “the Spanish Paris Hilton”. She appeared on screen together with the well-known (in the genre) porn actor Jordi “El Niño Polla”.
Ironically, the Spanish Government was set to approve a law against prostitution in September, which will likely require the vote of Ábalos.
The Minister of Equality, Ana Redondo, announced on June 18 that her department would take a battery of measures against so-called “machismo”, including a ban on prostitution, to the Council of Ministers in September.
Redondo told the press that her party “reacts immediately by removing the corrupt [and] the sexist…”.
She denounced the audio recordings of Ábalos, saying they “denigrate, dehumanise” and turned women into “objects of consumption”.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez also said he was disgusted by the recordings of his former right-hand man, Spanish national radio station Onda Cero reported.
“The lack of exemplarity, coarseness and machismo are incompatible with the feminist values of this organisation,” Sánchez said.
He insisted that the objective of his PSOE party and the government was to “put an end to systemic corruption … We are well aware that there is still work to be done.
“There are still corrupt [people] and corrupters,” he said.
“We are going to … act forcefully.”
