Italian authorities have dismantled what they describe as an active Hamas-linked financing network operating inside Italy. Prosecutors allege the network transferred more than €7 million from Italy to organisations in the Palestinian territories between 2018 and 2025, many of them said to be controlled by Hamas. Italian Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi has described the group as an operational Hamas cell. The case goes beyond counter-terrorism. It is part of a broader Italian strategy targeting Muslim Brotherhood–linked networks, which authorities believe have expanded their influence in Europe through charitable organisations, mosques, and foreign funding.

In this video, we examine:
– How the alleged network operated in Italy
-The links between Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood in Europe
– The role of foreign funding and intelligence
